Wondering...

Will someone please explain to me why I am getting tons of hits from people all over the country who are googling "Jessica Soapbox"?? Thanks!

EDIT: Mystery solved. Apparently everyone is looking for this and land on my blog in the process of searching. Here I thought I was suddenly amazingly popular (I'm getting roughly 30 hits per hour). Oh, well. It's nice to know what's going on...I was a little weirded out. Thanks for the tip, anon!

how do u know how many 'hits' you are getting a day? I was clicking on 'next blog' (how I cam across yours) and for a couple weeks I got the same disgusting 2or3 blogs all the time...i'm glad that got straightened out. I do click 'next blog' just to see what others have to say.

Mary,

I try to keep up with my blog visitors (so that I know which posts are read the most and have an idea how many people are reading this blog) through sitemeter and feedjit. Any of my visitors can see my "Live Traffic Feed" on the right hand side of my blog. It's a fun tool to use and fairly simple to add to your blog. (You can get the code from http://feedjit.com/join/ ) I also use sitemeter which is more reliable..but I rarely look at it! You can get that from www.sitemeter.com

Interesting...I don't think I've ever tried clicking "Next Blog." Glad you found me, though! :)

You could add preview ads if this keeps up.
